Meet the Principal

Melissa Plumb

Welcome to Weisser Park Magnet School! This is my fourth year serving as principal and I'm excited to showcase all we offer for our students. I'm a proud product of Fort Wayne Community Schools and attended Weisser Park as a child. 

I earned my Bachelor's Degree from Indiana University Bloomington and pursued my Master's Degree at Indiana University Fort Wayne. I have spent my entire 26-year career in education with FWCS. Before becoming a principal, I worked as a special education teacher for 23 years. 

I look forward to a successful year with our wonderful students!
