WELCOME TO

Weisser Park STEAM Elementary School

Whitney Young and Weisser Park operate as one unified school community across two buildings, working together under a shared STEAM curriculum. While students learn in different spaces, they are connected by the same commitment to science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics. Teachers and administrators collaborate across both buildings to provide hands-on, project-based learning experiences.

Image Description

FORT WAYNE COMMUNITY SCHOOLS

welcomes all students

Weisser Park is a Magnet School. To attend this STEAM school, students must apply through the  School Choice Lottery. The process is different from the neighborhood schools within FWCS, which assign students based on their residential addresses.

Students who live outside FWCS boundaries are also welcome to attend Weisser Park, based on space availability, and must provide transportation to and from school.
